With all the meetings you have to attend, do you ever wonder how you get  anything done? Meetings are a necessary evil so you have to make the best of them. Most of you probably attend project review meetings, however there are a lot of other meetings required to keep the project running smoothly. Later in this article I will address some basic issues around organizing and running meetings.

Everyone has meeting horror stories and have their own list of what they  late about meetings. I remember one meeting I attended was with several company vice -presidents. The meeting was moving along when one of the senior vice-presidents said what he had to say then pulled out his newspaper and proceeded to read it for the rest of the meeting. So don’t feel bad if your meetings are not perfect. From my experience in managing projects and chairing meetings, following are some points to keep in mind:
